Building Traffic Continuously

Once you have your web site or blog established, you of course came up with a marketing plan to drive traffic to your site. But setting up a plan isn't enough, because traffic won't build itself. You have to constantly monitor and improve your plan, so that traffic doesn't just come, it builds, and your profits get larger and larger.

After you have the basics down, there are a few more things you can do to build traffic to your web site.

·         Offer a newsletter. People might forget to come visit you at your site, but if they like you, they won't turn down the chance to get more of your information in their inbox for free every week or two. Of course, they have to provide their email address to do that, and that makes it possible for you to engage in some email marketing.

·         Email marketing. Once you have a customer on your mailing list, you can get them back to your web site by sending them notices of sales, specials, contests, and other great deals. They will click and easy link and be right back where they started...on your site!

·         Monitor your keywords. Mae sure that the keywords that people look for actually appear in your articles and web content. That makes your site rank higher on search engine searches, which make sit more likely that people will seek your site out. Sometimes these words have to be adjusted in your text, because they can change or be changed to be more effective.
